had a similar problem - radio stopped working one day - no obvious reason - car would not start 2 days later.AA called out and confirmed that the battery was drained but didn't know why.i read this advice today 3/12/2016 - disconnected the positive side of the battery- left it for 2 minutes - reconnected - everything fine - entered radio code and away we go .thanks for the advice- probably

I have a similar problem to 16v Beard in my 99 megane. The only difference between the two issues is that my interior lights work fine. I have changed fuses F6 and F30, checked all the others in the fusebox next to the drivers footwell. Changed stereo but still no joy. Any help or suggestions on this would be great. Cheers Mark

Answered Renault radio no display I have a Renault megane, just brought it. the display says error and when I turn it on there is no display. no code no 0000 nothing, so I cant even input the code. For some people, the R-Link gets stuck on the startup screen (with the R-Link logo). To unlock the situation, you must disconnect the USB sticks and SD card, turn off the engine and restart the engine. The system should start normally, you can then replace the SD card.
